Applications for Scholarships
Eligibility and Details
Applicants must be at least a high school senior and be enrolled or have applied for full-time enrollment at an accredited post-secondary educational institution.
The recipients will be notified by February 5th of each year and announced at the Pinto Horse Association Annual Spring Convention.
Scholarship funds will only be paid to the educational institution to which the student pays tuition. When no arrangements have been made after five years, the recipient's scholarship reverts back to the scholarship fund. All scholarships must be used within five years of receipt.
Application and all required materials must be completed and postmarked no later than January 15 of the current year and submitted to:

Criteria
The criteria listed below are in order of importance to these scholarships:
- Involvement with Pinto horses, ponies, miniatures and PtHA
- Leadership Ability (as expressed through extra curricular activities and community involvement)
- Financial Need
- Essay
- Academic Achievement
- Two Letters of Recommendation
