The top winners will also be displayed here and first place will be on the cover of the 2024 PtHA Winter Magazine!

PtHA PHOTO CONTEST RULES

• Only vertical photos will be considered for the first place magazine inside cover.

• Judging will be based on subject, creativity and composition.

• Contest is open to amatuer and professional photographers of all ages.

• Photographers may enter up to 10 photographs.

• Photos must be entered by photographer only.

• Entries MUST be 8" x 10" in size.

• All entries must have official entry form taped to back of photo or emailed with entry.

• Submit photos in a protective envelope or photo mailer, or email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Subject: Photo Contest. Emailed photos MUST be high resolution (330 dpi).

• All photos must portray a registered Pinto(s). If photo is a group of horses, at least one must be a Pinto.

• Digital enhancements are not permitted, except cropping or resizing.

All entries become property of the PtHA® and will not be returned. Entry in contest constitutes permission for the PtHA® to use prints for publications.

All photographs will be judged anonymously

All reasonable care will be taken with handling entries PtHA ®cannot be held responsible for damage to or loss of photos. Submission of entry constitutes entrant's consent to, and agreement with, these rules.

Winning photographs will be featured in the Winter 2025 issue of Pinto Horse Magazine, as well as on www.pinto.org. The first place winner will have their photograph featured on the cover of the magazine.
